  1. This is reminding me of 2004 for when the Cubs imploded against the Cards in a series at Wrigley.
  2. So the Cards are going to have to face Manny next week.
  3. I want to pound the crap out of them now. Lets score 11 and put a 20 spot on the board.
  4. That looked totally on purpose. Especially that last pitch.
  5. Z's probably thinking "Hey I remember when I did that to him"
  6. BYE GAGNE! Brewers are imploding now.
  7. That was a good pitch. Throw that more.
  8. FUKUBOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  9. Well played but I hope your wrong on last part. I want a nice and easy 8th and 9th
  10. BREW-ERS DE-FENSE CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP
  11. If any team's 3 and 4 hitters go in a slump in a five or seven game playoff series, chances are that team will be in some trouble. Yeah and if Sori/Aram/Lee get hot like they did last sept is all over. This years O is so much deeper it would be sick if those 3 got hot at the same time. If that happens and our pitching is like they are supposed to be we're champs.
  12. Manny for Griffey isn't a good trade. If you're dead set on getting rid of Manny it's not awful. Griffey is hitting .245/.355/.432 this season... Manny is hitting .299/.398/.529 this season... Yeah, that'd be a bad trade. That's not fair though. If you're getting rid of Manny, you're going to lose production with pretty much any return. Who's going to come in and produce equal to Manny? What option is better for the Red Sox if they are hell bent on getting rid of Manny? That's true, but there is no reason they should be trading Manny. Despite his problems he's had with management he has still been producing at a high level.
  13. Cubs hitters look like they want to go home now.
  14. If our top three pitchers pitch like they have, our line up is deep enough to overcome this.
