  1. Every game this series we are destined to have an inning where all outs are rockets hit right at people.
  2. Omar Infante just tied if for the Cards.
  3. It seems like Demp has been falling behind a lot lately.
  4. Just a random thought, but when you are keeping track of pitch count should you be taking throws to first into account?
  5. Sure. Hawk Harrelson, White Sox fans, the White Sox, those White Sox commercials and US Cellular field.
  6. You should have done that last pitch. Oh well, let's get some more.
  7. Does Braun have other hits besides that homer?
  8. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=carlos+zambrano
  9. Dempster has the big strike zone so far too.
  10. Darn hit it right at him. If Dempster pitches well though we are in good shape.
  11. I don't believe so since it would have been a force out.
  12. Reed was on the inside of the line too, they could have tagged him out.
  13. Shins aren't a part of the K-zone
  14. Aaron Cook is quietly having a good year. I think right now it would be Webb, but Z deserves one if he keeps pitching like he has.
  15. It be nice to finally get Harden a win, get to 21 over and sweep the Brewers at the same time. But you got to win tonight to complete the last two.
  16. Will he win the Cy Young this year?
  17. I am getting the same feeling when I watch the Brewers play. All I can think about when I see one of his starters pitching well with a high pitch count is Dusty trying to ride his horses. Hopefully, though, Yost is about as good as Dusty was because than we have smooth sailing to the division crown.
  18. I'd actually be really surprised if they wouldn't be interested in Marquis. The only reason I think they wouldn't be is because of his contract but it's not like the Yankees are hurting for money. What would we be able to get for him though?
  19. Would it make that big of a difference for them? Swisher's numbers aren't really all that outstanding this year either.
  20. The biggest thing to look for when watching these pitches on tv is the speed and amount of break. For example Sheets' curveball is not going to be thrown as hard or break as much as Webb's sinker. Also if you look closely at the ball you can kind of see its rotation, especially on a curve ball. If the ball is spinning and there is a bit of sideways move ment odds are its a breakingball of some kind.
  21. I don't understand why Eyre couldn't have pitched. He is certainly good enough to get three outs without allowing 7 runs to score. It's not like Eyre has been awful this year, not like the first half of last year where he was terrible. It's almost like Lou thinks its last year when Howry was good and Eyre was horrendous. I don't want him pitching with the game on the line but he should have closed out this game.
