  1. I expect 0 points in iowa vs florida. I would enjoy if iowa played a game that is competitive through halftime at least this year.
  2. Having a non conference champ in just bugs me but it makes sense. Bama isn't losing though so it's moot.
  3. I found myself being like "do I have to watch the good stuff happens to the indians part?"
  4. Only cleveland and toronto are good in the east. 3 through whatever are up for grabs. boston, charlotte, and atlanta will be comfortably ahead of the bulls in the standings by year end I might agree but all those teams have looked as bad as the bulls looked in individual games this year too.
  5. no, they really don't by any definition of that word. but this game sucked. and we really need mcdermott and mcw back. and portis needs to be in the d league. maybe a 6th seed in the east at best Only cleveland and toronto are good in the east. 3 through whatever are up for grabs.
  6. Did they hit a jumper in the second half?
  7. Teams seem to always play like crap the first home game after a long trip.
  8. except when bobby portis is in the game He was out there a long time and did no good things and lots of bad things
  9. I hope MCW and McDermott's return help the bench. It's ugly with them out there. Also would enjoy seeing something fun from Portis.
  10. Didn't really see Iowa winning by 30 today. They all of a sudden became kinda good and I don't know how it happened considering they looked done after penn state.
  11. Jimmy Butler with 40. If he keeps this up I wonder what type of MVP consideration he'll get.
  12. Jimmy Butler looks even better than he has before and he was pretty damn good. D-Wade, while not old D-Wade, is doing some crafty veteran things that are pretty fun. He hit a big shot last night. The team is playing defense and overall it's probably been the most enjoyable Bulls team to watch since the ECF year. The east looks deeper than it's been in awhile (which is weird because there are so many good teams but Cleveland is still basically a lock to go to the finals) so it still good be a grind to make the playoffs but it's been fun so far. A continued good trip will up my expectations a little though it'll always be hard to get extremely excited when you know they aren't beating the Cavs. Is Butler a legit top 10 player in the league now? Lebron, Curry, Durant, Harden, Westbrook, Davis, Lilliard are the first tier. But Butler is right there in that 2nd tier with guys like Derozan, Isiah Thomas, Leonard, and Kyrie Irving....and I'd take Butler over at least a couple of those guys. If he isn't top 10 he's definitely on the fringe of being so.
  13. Jok's good on offense but his defense was horrid. He looked like he'd never really done it before which was weird because he was at least useful defensively last year. The amount of times he got beat off the dribble was gross.
  14. I think that's true for just about every team seeded 4th-8th in both conferences, honestly. They've been a lot of fun to watch so far this year. Outside of the Christmas game against OKC and a couple of those games against the Cavs last year, watching them was like watching paint dry. Even last night in a game that wasn't pretty, I was still cool with watching them during a weeknight when they were out west. I definitely wouldn't have even bothered with that last year. 15. and even better, the cubs won the world series so I really don't give a horsefeathers how their season goes. I'll get to relax and have fun watching them They can only improve on defense I guess but that Tyler Cook spin move than dunk was one of the best things I've seen an Iowa player do in a long time. He's gonna be a good one.
  16. 2-0 on the circus trip and the teams they beat are no slouches. Ugly game tonight but wins are fun. I'm excited to see what they can do vs the Clippers as they have been the best team in the league so far this year.
  17. A lot of growing for this team to do but this Iowa team is entertaining so far.
  18. Then you strangely have no clue the power that Iowa City holds over Michigan. Your horsefeathering basketball arena is a place wolverines go to die as well. Actually this feels kind of good to get this worked up over sports again. I thought I was going to be permanently numb Nah, it does feels like we always play Michigan tough. I still lose sleep over Iowa's game at the Big House in 1997. I really thought Michigan was almost Alabama good (still may be, they just missed some big plays and made some dumb ones) and I didn't see how Iowa could hang with them.
  19. It's a tough place to play if you aren't MAC teams, Iowa State or the best FCS team ever.
  20. There really was no point where I thought Iowa would win that. Cool!
  21. I wish I had faith in our kicker but, holy crap we could win.
  22. Well, Iowa has a chance. I have no faith they drive into field goal range and then make that field goal but what the hell. I thought'd we'd be down by 40 at this point.
  23. I have watched over 7 million football games, and that is the first time I have ever seen that called I wonder if the dude who did it even knew it was a rule. I've never heard of it.
  24. What the hell is roughing the center?
  25. football isn't fun anymore, and that's not entirely because Iowa sucks I can see that. And now that the Cubs won sports don't really feel the same anymore period.
