    I can understand the argument that Iowa's close games are skewed a bit because of their style and it is kind of false to deny it. But something has to be said for a team who is able to get teams to play their style (yes a lot of that does have to do with the Big Ten). The thing is though, if you lose by 4,5 6 points than your losing by a couple of baskets. Iowa has lost a bunch of games by 6 points or less and some of that has to be do to luck. A team probably has 3-4 shots a game at least that miss, plus when you add in bad calls 6 point margins don't mean much. Although, Iowa has won a few games in OT so maybe my point is kind of moot (if I had one). I'll shut up now.

    I really wonder what Iowa's record would look like if they could have just pulled out some of there non-OT close games and if they were healthy for most of the year.

    Hmmm...I want to Bulls to make the playoffs (even though a first round exit is the most likely scenario) but the playoffs gives a little bit more incentive to keep Del Negro which is bad.

    That seemed to happen a lot there. I remember Wood pitching in a game where we blew something like an 8 run lead.

    I've always been an Alou fan. Even before he played for the Cubs. I have fond memories of him hitting the game winning double in the 10th inning of the 1994 All-Star game (I was eight and took the All Star game more seriously than I should have) On a side note, Jason Bere pitched in that game. How was he ever an All Star?

    All 4 of those teams would probably win the Big Ten. If you don't think UNC, Duke, UConn, Pitt, or Louisville would all win the Big Ten you're delusional. The only sport the Big Ten has a consistent shot at winning the national championship in is wrestling... ACC and Big East consistently have a shot to win in basketball... SEC and Big 12 consistently have a shot to win in football... the Big Ten has fallen by the wayside in the last 5 years in the major sports... wrestling is a major sport??? [-X

    Don't forget on the road against Iowa. They were winning in the last minute. Though we played like crap that game. Both teams did. The blown 2nd half double digit leads @ Butler and @ Penn State were bigger "should haves" than the Iowa game. True. I was more indicating that it was a should have because Iowa isn't good (and they were especially struggling when they played NW) and they had the lead in the last minute. A lot of sucky losses this year for them. I hope they can make a run in the BTT(unless they play Iowa) they are an NCAA tournament caliber team, they've just had bad luck and probably won't make it.
