    The Cubs need to destroy Dusty Baker's Reds tomorrow so I feel better.

    Rene Borque looks like he is the "random scrub who always beats my favorite team but has no business doing so" in this series. It doesn't matter what sport it is. In a big series/game some crappy player is always going to play way over his head against my favorite team.

    After losing to the Lightning in the finals a few years ago and after tonight I'm going to guess Flames fans aren't too fond of Khabibulin.

    On a positive note, this is the best we've looked all series. We need to bury one here and tie it.

    It's more than baseball. The issue is getting that worked up over something that is not really that important in the grand scheme and more importantly, something that you have absolutely no control over. It's hard and sometimes it really ruins my day (or about a month after the 2003 season ended), but I have never in my life approached what this guy does, and if I did, I sure as hell wouldn't want anyone to see it. The bolded part is the big reason people get worked up in the first place.

    I'm scared of the road games right now. They are more physical then us at our place, I don't know if we are going to be able to match their intensity in Calgary (sorry. This is my obligatory my favorite team is losing in the playoffs so I have to freak out moment)

    I called my wife when I was on break at work and she told be the Bulls were up at half and I was stunned. When I asked her who won the game for me they told me they won and I was so pumped. I wish I could have watched it.

    I have to miss the Bulls game (the possibilities of it being a blowout are high but I would like to watch it) but will have my ass firmly planted on the couch for the Cubs and Hawks.

    First time watching a playoff hockey game from beginning to end. This is so fun. You think this is nuts. Wait until OT. You may drop dead from a cardiac arrest.
