    Z looks to be going out there for the 7th as nobody is warming up. Z is one of the guys I don't mind going a lot of pitches. As long as he doesn't suck.

    I just don't think you make it to the conference finals without having a good team. One player, no matter how good he is, can't get you there by himself.

    I actually think that a Denver vs Magic (Or only one of those teams making it even) would be good for the NBA. It would actually give some unpredictability to the league that doesn't have much of it.

    As long as LeBron stays in Cleveland they'll have plenty of chances at a title and the odds are that they'll get one. I can see why one would be disappointed though.

    Remember that Jordan had to endure 6 years of playoff defeats before reaching the promised land. The Bulls had years where you thought they could get over the top and then the Pistons would beat them. Also remember that this series is not over. Yep, the nature of basketball in general makes it so 3-1 is a tough, almost impossible deficit to overcome but usually a 66 win team isn't in a 3-1 hole. This series isn't over at all.

    I don't like the Cavs but I thought LeBron was fouled on Howard's block in OT. Not by Howard but the guy who came to help got an awful lot of body on James (is it cool to call him by his last name and not his first name only).

    I don't think it's the slump that is of concern. It's the fact that he's physically doing the same things that caused him to fail miserably last year. The whole stepping towards first base thing is ridiculous. I don't know about you guys, but I was taught in little league that you put your foot back down TOWARDS THE PITCHER. I realize this could be a difference in teaching between Japan and the US, but I just don't see why Kosuke can't shake it. If someone told me right now to take a step in a certain direction, it would certainly not be a difficult task. I mean, isn't anyone actually telling Kosuke this stuff? Does he not notice or what? This is kind of a random aside rant but why do people say stuff like "I was taught such and such in little league". You were most likely taught by a random dad who doesn't have much baseball authority.

    Lou made it sound like Marshall would go to the pen. At least Cotts will be gone? Yeah, that is definitely the silver lining. If Wells can keep pitching like he has (I have my doubts) then it's not really that bad of a move. All in all though, I'd rather just drop Cotts and send Wells to the pen - but we MUST have a lefty for crying out loud! I don't think we have to. We just need a guy who can get lefty's out.

    I haven't paid too much attention to the standings but I didn't realize that we were only 5 games out. It's very possible that we're 4 out after tonight and if that happens after the end of an 8 game losing streak, we could be in much worse shape.
