    In all honesty, the Big Ten isn't a great conference, not like it has been in the past and the teams in the conference have played some awful games but I've been telling and asking myself this. All the other BCS conferences have looked flawed too. The Big East looks bad, like always, the ACC looks awful as well. Outside of USC the Pac 10 doesn't look that impressive, and they don't look as good as they have in the past. The SEC doesn't look amazing outside of Florida and the Big 12 looked overrated as hell today. Are any of the BCS conferences elite this year, or are we seeing the gap between the non-BCS teams and the BCS teams getting closer. People criticize the Big Ten all the time (including myself) but maybe all the BCS teams themselves (except a couple of teams) just aren't that great.

    Is Virginia the worst BCS team? i dunno, but duke lost to richmond, virginia lost to william and mary (both of them apparently), james madison is leading maryland in the 4th quarter, florida state is trailing jacksonville st (not even a good i-aa program). that's atrocious. as for the worst BCS team, i'm sure wazzu will be horrible again, colorado looks really pathetic (losses to colo st and toledo? come on), and then there's virginia. those are probably the top contenders. Don't forget about Kansas State and Iowa State. I notice a strong trend of Big 12 teams on this list.

    Is Virginia the worst BCS team? Washington State? I forgot about them. Last year they may have been the worst BCS team ever (well, since the BCS has existed at least.). Are they still as bad this year.

    i'm still not sold on iowa. isu could not have played worse. I'm not either. The line still looks weak at times and Stanzi is average at best. The D is good but ISU could have kept themselves in it if it weren't for some awful penalty's on there part. Plus they tried to throw deep a lot against a team that designed to prevent the deep ball. I think they'll be top half of the Big Ten though because the conference just isn't that great.

    I dont know why but this has the feel of the game 3 or 4 years ago when ND was favored and Michigan just came off their 6-6 season. ND fans seem a little over confident about this one. what makes this feel like that game? I think Michigan wins.

    I'm not sure if Iowa is any good or if we are just picking on an abysmal Iowa State team. It's nice to see a Frosh, RB play well though.

    Iowa has played like ass (on offense) but I'll take an 11 point lead at half in Ames (I know, it's sad that I have to be afraid of playing in freaking Ames).
