Meh, we got Seattle next week. You either win that one and you're fine (you'll either have to win the last week or need the Giants or Dallas to lose one of 5 games), or you lose that one and you don't deserve playoffs anyways. That's a heartbreaker of a game though.

They don't have faith in their defense and felt they could catch GB off guard with an onside kick, I guess. It was a crazy call but it was a yard from working.

I was looking at Crosby's kicking stats in college. Why did Green Bay draft him outside of the fact that he can kick really far?

I think it gets overturned. Looked like his arm was going slightly forward right as the contact was made.

I'm having "being able to watch the Packers anxiety". I'm at the in-laws, in an area that normally shows the Bears. The Packers would have been on if the Bears game wasn't moved up. Hopefully I'll be able to watch it.

Just don't give up homefield. EDIT: Who wins homfield if Vikings and Saints tie? Would it be the Vikings because of a better conference record?

I hope the Saints wake up. I was kind of hoping to clinch a playoff birth tommorow.

That's what I figured. I just didn't know if there was a scenario where Dallas would lose but in some way a three way NFC East tie would keep us out.

Does a Cowboys loss and a Green Bay win put the Packers in the playoffs since the Packers beat them?

Stanford is not a bad team, either. They only averaged 11 TOs per game coming into today, and NU forced 18 or something. Go 'Cats! Stanford really isn't a good team this year. They have 2 home losses already to not great teams, and a bad loss at San Diego as well, coupled with zero decent wins. Their best effort was an OT loss to Kentucky on a neutral floor. I think Northwestern finally makes it this year. Unless Iowa finds a way to play basketball somehow in the Big Ten and make a miracle run, Northwestern will probably be my de facto favorate team.
