    I'm sure it's playoff jitters but I have visions of Indiana raining in threes again and Boozer staring at Hansbrough while hits jumper after jumper and I'm getting nervous. I hate that this game starts so late though.

    A large crop of really good players, a title field that is somewhat wide open (by NBA standards at least) some budding rivalries. This has been a fun year and the playoffs haven't disapointed thus far.

    I'd say half of Granger's shots were contested and threes are still difficult to make even if you are open. I don't expect Indiana to shoot at the same pace again.

    One last game as defending champions before we pass on the crown. What a lame season this was. Oh well. Hopefully Vancouver chokes against someone else this year.

    I actually just said something like this to my dad. Teams just go isolation with their best player and hope he hits a prayer. It's stupid.

    I think I'm fine with Boston winning. The Knicks going down in painful fashion is nice and I want the Heat going down as soon as possible.

    I really hate both these teams and I'm struggling on who I want to win.

    I'd say the Heat would make for a better mirror of the Bears' situation as they would be like the Packers - a bit underachieving but capable of wining it all. The Knicks are probably more of a rival though. I think, the Bulls don't really have a rival that's comparable to Packers/Bears. Come to think of it, does the NBA really have any classic rivalries? Lakers vs. Celtics? I thought about that but can you really be hated rivals when you are on other sides of the country from each other and play two regular season games a year and sometimes play in the Finals. I guess when most people think of NBA rivals this is probably what they think though. The NBA seems to be a league where rivalries are developed throughout a season and go on a season by season basis depending on the players on the teams.

    Aside from the puck bouncing off people's sticks this looks like last years team. They came to play, hopefully they can sustain something similar to this the rest of the game.
