    There's nothing better in sports than watching monster homers. Glenallen Hill's was probably the most amazing I've seen. Sosa's that went down the street was awesome too. I also remember his shot off the camera well in game 2 of the NLCS very well.

    The AL Wild Card race is pretty awesome. Almost every team is still in contention and I hope it stays that way.

    I'm still pinning my hopes on a 2002 A's like 20 game win streak that gets us back into the playoff race. Only 19 to go.

    That two year run of being one of the best in the NBA gave me some of my best sports memories. Too bad Rose's knee had to be destroyed.

    Hey, the Cubs will be .500 at home if they win this apparently.

    I just can't pull for my team to lose, even if it helps them. Even in sports where a high draft pick can be more impactful I can't do it. I'd still rather see the Bulls get an 8th seed than tank and get a high draft pick for example.

    Just have to play at about a .800 winning % the rest of the way to get that 2nd wild card spot! I'm counting on 9 NL teams having monumental collapses. We'd win the division at an 80% clip. 70% clip would put us at 87 wins, pretty much right there. Part of me is still dreaming :D but I'd take finishing with a better record than last year with some young players showing development. I'd be pretty happy with that. That'd would be we played pretty well in the second half.

    It looks like he has an opt out clause after year three though.

    The Cubs have been a punchline for years in pop culture outside of sports (Colbert's done jokes about the, the famous Back to the Future reference among lots of other one). The Sox curse was famous but I really don't think they had the loser moniker down like the Cubs do. The Cubs winning would probably be one the biggest stories ever in sports.

    Now Love is a guy Rose would probably openly recruit if ever needed. They're real tight. I'd love Love on the Bulls. Love is one of my favorite players and he's really good so that'd be awesome. The Wolves seem to be doing what they can to build around him though so we'll see if they get to the point of trading him/him wanting out (I have read about him being unhappy with what they're doing or something like that).

    Losing Brewer, Watson and Korver with a replacement of Hinrich, Asik and possibly someone from the Wolves. I don't really like this.
