the glove barely missed jeter's hand, it's not an awful call. it's only an awful call if you're sitting at home on the computer watching the replay in slow motion 10 times. I saw it and called it a bad call in real time the first time I saw it... why the hell should a player even try a deke slide? The umpire is subconsciously trained to call him out anyways...
Any relation? Brother. Jeremy also has a twin in the Red Sox organization. I think his name is Joshua. Hes the worst of the 3 though. Was Hung Wen Chen ever highly thought of, because hes not particularly good. According to the birth date they are also twins meaning Jeremy and Joshua.
That's cool I guess... kid's on pace for 22 wins for a bad team. Yeah, the Rockies aren't a 'bad' team. They're 13-21 in their crappy division. Believe it or not, the Giants aren't good, either.
Just saw the replay... what a joke. If the umpires actually watched if the player avoided the tag instead of who beat who then maybe they'd get this right... Jeter had every right to argue... what an awful call.
Huh? We gained a full game on Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, a half-game on Milwaukee and St. Louis and nothing on Houston. Sorry... meant the important teams... St. Louis and Milwaukee... ONE of them has to lose tomorrow. Should have clarified.
I was reading the preview for NHL2010 in this month's Game Informer magazine and they have a screen shot of Ben Eager fighting a faceless Canuck, you can only see the Canuck's arm. The caption reads....
