Theriot's grounder should have ended the inning. So any runs after the inning should be over are unearned. Learn something new everyday, for some reason I didn't know that any runs after a "should be" inning ending play were unearned. Good to know, thanks!

Yeah he should, but for some reason he is way more valuable as a hitter when he leads off. His career numbers show this. I don't know why, but they do. Yea I am not refuting that at all... but the fact is he's getting paid 136mil, there really is no reason why his numbers should be better. It's his attitude, he thinks he should leadoff so when he doesn't he stinks. But that's not good for the team so he needs to get over it.

Yea Illini... but he is a professional and it is CLEAR Theriot knows how to get on base and rarely strikes out... he at least takes pitches. Soriano swings at balls in the dirt. He NEEDS to hit 5th.

Bad pickoff throws? Leadoff single? I prefer leadoff homers. I prefer 6/14 in leadoff spot. I prefer .500 OBP over .336 OBP in the leadoff spot. I prefer someone who can take walks over someone who strikes out 3x more. I prefer people who know what they're talking about over people who don't. Ever heard of a sample size?
