    cynosure, for one. I see death and gore during my clinical time, one can become desensitized after awhile... that stuff doesn't bother me at all. Curiosity takes over at that point, sorry not everyone deals with death and blood in their profession.

    Just checked the Box Score, there were only 2 fights? Hawks had a 3 fight game the other day and a 4 fight game against the Blues earlier in the season. Is the Box Score wrong?

Watch the hit at the beginning of this clip from last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4RsrJbVY6M Sutherby got the instigator because there was no reason for him to jump McKee after a legal hit. Yea I saw this last night... the player is just reacting to what looks like a headshot (a dirty hit)... they weren't watching the whole play develop like the refs. If it's a dirty hit, instigator usually isn't used.

    That being said, here are the proposed fighting changes that are going to voted on in the off-season: - Staged fighting with recieve an extra 10 minute misconduct. A example would be fighters dropping gloves off a face off without any previous altercation causing the fight - Imposing the instigator rule when a fight occurs after a guy delivers a big hit to a player Stupid... leave it the way it is. It's been this way for 100+ years. Taking out fighting is going to make the game more dangerous for a majority of the players. Get rid of staged fighting, leave real fighting in.

    Give him the Vez.... ERRRR .....Give him the Calder AND Vezina or something... Kid has finally won me over.

    Since the deadline the Canes are 4-0-0 outscoring their opponents 23-6, or 5.75 GFG to 1.50 GAG. This one will be tough, lets end their winning streak! Gotta keep Staal and Cole under control and we'll be fine. Ward has been incredibly hot as of late, as well.

    He's been ridiculous in Spring Training. Wish he was 5 inches taller and 20 more pounds and he'd be a beast... can't believe a guy smaller than myself can generate that much power.

    Of all the games worthy of this kind of hyperbole, last night's was most certainly not one of them. Figured we needed the other end of the spectrum :) I hate Wade.

    Rangers/Canes on VERSUS tonight. Doesn't look like a very intriguing game unless you realize that if the Canes win, they pass New York AND Pittsburgh and become the 7th seed. Can't wait to see Avery piss of Conboy.

    I heard Pahlsson saying he hasn't even really been working out for awhile. The impression I got was that he's not even in playing shape. Yea, you can't work out when you have mono... it sucks. If you work out you could rupture your spleen. It took me out for 7 weeks when I had it.
