Sucks that a superstar is instantly immune to a suspension while clearly STARTING a fight with a player that had to throw punches with HIS GLOVES ON because he was jumped. Go choke on one, Campbell.

For those of you still wondering about the puck on Osgood's back in Game 1: "No defending player, except the goalkeeper, will be permitted to fall on the puck, hold the puck, pick up the puck, or gather the puck into the body or hands when the puck is within the goal crease. For infringement of this rule, play shall immediately be stopped and a penalty shot shall be ordered against the offending team, but no other penalty shall be given." Should have been penalty shot for Pitt.

they can rescind the misconduct. usually the suspension is given to a goon who's sole misson is to stir things up at the end of the game, and I agree with that. without seeing the play, my guess is that malkin didn't get on the ice for his shift and just look for someone to jump. maybe he did, i dunno. I think that's a dumb rule... he instigated the fight with under 5 minutes left and should be penalized as such. Not going to happen like both of you said, but the rules need to be followed. the point isn't to stop "instigating" necessarily, it's to stop goons from being goons in the last 5 minutes of the game, to stop that "message sending" non-sense. Well, Malkin was sending messages. Obvious frustration boiling over.

your right...I actually think its a game misconduct Malkin got a misconduct... Zetterberg only got 5 for fighting. Should have been 10 for each. I have never actually seen anyone get the misconduct for the jersey not being tied down. Fight ties not tied down is automatically a GAME MISCONDUCT... I think its a new rule in the last couple years.

Should have it been a delay of game when all the hats got thrown on the Ice when Kane got his hat trick? I just thought I heard that if fans threw Octopi on the ice DURING the game it was considered a D.O.G.... I wasn't trying to be a dick.
