    Hockey is much more of a sport I'd watch and switch to baseball during commercials. I think I'll be watching the Hawks game :( At least I can follow the Cubs on game day.

    Bad pitchers = low scoring game... kinda like the Hawks with back-up goalies. Cubs win 3-1.

    VERSUS will carry half of the games for most teams in the 1st round. CSN will carry the other half.

    Nooooo if the Hawks have home ice we start the playoffs on 4/16 which is a Thursday... I have school that night! [expletive]! Then game 2 will be on Saturday where I'm at a 3:00 Cubs game... WHAT THE [expletive]!!

    No, it wasn't anything flashy. But it's the kind of road effort they are going to need in Games 3 and 4 in a couple weeks. BTW Hawks clinched 4th seed tonight if Vancouver loses. Otherwise I think we just need 1 point in the next 3 games.

    I think his antics are effective when he plays how he has played with the Rangers. When he was on LA and Dallas (didn't see him much on Detroit so can't say) he wasn't very effective - he just instigated and caused chaos. Generally as a Ranger he has been pretty effective, but still crosses that line sometimes. How effective has he been? Aren't the Rangers on the verge of missing the playoffs? I stumbled onto tickets through work for Thursday's game against Philly. Yea but Avery is the only reason they're still even in the hunt. Since he came back they've been pretty damn good. But since he came back, haven't they fallen from like a 5/6 seed to tied for 8th? I believe they were a 9th seed (or tied for 8th) when he returned then they went up to 5th or 6th again and then Montreal, Carolina, and Pittsburgh caught absolute fire.
