  1. I know I shouldn't say it, but that was a dirty dirty hit on Avery. I don't care how much you hate him, that was a dangerous play... one of the main reasons I respect Avery over other goons is because he doesn't charge or try to injure people. I am in no way saying Lupul is a dirty player, just saying that was a dirty hit and should get a fine at least. Along with that, the Flyers made that last minute some intense playoff-caliber hockey! Shame they didn't get the W, would have loved to see them with home ice VS the Pittsburgh Refs.
  2. That was weak... would have been fun to watch.
  3. LKETS GO LINE BRAWL!!!
  4. HOW DID ASHAM MISS THAT>!!!?!>!?!
  5. Still 7 minutes left.
  6. I'm biased, obviously ;) But other than her, it has to be Creed.
  7. Looks like there were more ejections than Hunter and Scosia, what happened after?
  8. Avery already ran into Biron haha.
  9. Been a nice weekend so far... Hawks won both games, Cubs won last night... now lets have them win again! So glad I have the Cubs to hold me over til Thursday!
  10. Khabibulin went from: .917 SV% - .919 SV% 2.39 GAA - 2.33 GAA #6 - #4
  11. Yea, they have 11 fights all year. when are you going to learn that fighting is not toughness? I would suggest that fighting is lack of toughness. I guess you will in the playoffs Where did I ever say that? But if you want to count Chelios getting away with countless slashes/crosschecks toughness it's all good. They aren't very physical overall... when you play more physical you get into more fights. I know how the playoffs work, there's barely ever any fights. No I dont want to count Chelios at all, my guess is you will not see him very much in the playoffs. Also, Cyno you do have homer glasses on when it comes to officiating. I think the Wings play plenty physical(at least enough to be stanley cup champions.) They just rarely fight. Today they obviously were coasting. I actually dont think the Hawks were exactly playing hard today either. Just their goaltender was great, ours was ok. Oh for sure... game was meaningless for both teams and I think the Hawks just wanted it a bit more since it was the home (season) finale. Not to mention Khabi played the game of the season today, Wings had enough chances to score 4-5 goals... just bad bounces that happen to every team. The reason I get pissed about the refs is not really because of the penalties the Hawks commit (majority of the time they are real penalties). I get pissed when big name players (Chelios/Datsyuk for example... yea I know Chelios is not really a "big name player" anymore) can get away with a bunch of crap on the young Hawks players without getting called. Inconsistency is what gets me, not the penalties themselves. Oh well, ONTO THE PLAYOFFS!

  14. I swear if someone takes a dumb penalty in these last 5 minutes and costs Khabi a shutout I'm going to be pissed.
  15. Which Wings player just got leveled?
  16. You HAVE to be kidding me! BULIN WALL!!!
  17. That was my 21st birthday... I just remember seeing the last of this at the bar and thought I was too drunk to read the real score... what a game haha.
  18. Ahhh! Toews almost had #2 there!
  19. HAWKS GOAL 3 - 4:50 (PP) - Bolland scores (19), assisted by Versteeg (31) and Campbell (45). Hawks lead 3-0.
  20. Score please so I can just enjoy a nice easy end of the game, I already know a heart attack is coming in tonight's Cubs game.
