I mentioned this earlier but if it takes this deal(I don't like the years involved) to get Kosuke in a cub uniform I'm in favor of it, and I hope its at second and DeRosa moves over to SS. If not and Derosa stays at 2B i hope in ST we have competition at SS with Cedeno Kaz and Theriot...

when you are wheelchair bound changing a wall clock isnt a frackin priority, and at the TEN am update they said a package of Monroe and prospects the the Rays(sorry I forgot the "S") for Crawford......

While I like that we've freed up money, who's going to be the odd man out if we also get Kaz? Cedeno or Theriot? I wouldn't have minded seeing a Cedeno/Kaz platoon......

According to the Denver Post, the Cubs are expected to offer Kazuo Matsui a three-year contract. The newspaper reports that the Rockies will likely let him leave if that's the case, which would be the right move. For all the talk of Matsui's dramatic improvement since leaving the Mets, he batted just .249 with a measly 638 OPS away from Coors Field in 2007. per roto
