  1. For Clarification TRANSACTIONS Throughout the season, you may make six (6) adds/drops to your core roster of 10 players. The following rules apply to transactions: * You must drop a player to add another player. A drop/add is one transaction. * The player added must be from the same position as the player dropped. * You must post your transaction in the HR Derby transaction thread. The transaction becomes effective at midnight Central Time the day you post it. You will accrue the dropped player's HRs in any game started by midnight Central Time that day. You will accrue the added player's HRs for any games starting after midnight Central Time the next day. * If you only post an add without a drop or there's any other problem deciphering your intent, the transaction isn't finalized until it's straightened out. * You may make three (3) transactions before the All-Star Break and three (3) transactions after the All-Star Break. These transactions apply only to the core roster and not the Bench Players. It's use or lose it -- if you don't make three (3) transactions before the All-Star Break, you still only get three (3) transactions afterwards (no rollover transactions). * You may change your Bench Player(s) twice in the first half of the season and twice in the second half of the season (up from just once at the ASB). HOWEVER … there must be thirty (30) days between transactions. * No transactions between the deadline on March 27 and 12:00pm Central Time on April 5, 2019 (first week of the season) and also no transactions after 12:00pm Central Time on September 13, 2019.
  2. You can do Tatis for Lamb. However, Trea is an OF and Marcus is a SS. It has to be the same position. Let me know how you want to proceed.
  3. Done and done x2. That is your first position transaction of the first half. Additionally you cannot change bench players for 30 days from 4/9.
  4. All fix. Sorry for the error. That's what I get for starting the standings on Saturday.

  6. First scoreboard is coming Monday, April 8th. I did not want to publish one with just 3 days in.

  8. My co-worker (Pymptonite) replaced Olson with Rizzo at 1B (same cost) and Olson with Eddie Rosario (same cost) at OF. Again, these do not count as any transactions. I'm working on finalizing the scoreboard coding (formulas), and then I'll get everyone's Bench Players posted publicly prior to the first pitch of the first game (Noon?).
  9. I signed up two of my co-workers ... but I had them also send their rosters to me, so I could get them situated. This is in case moderators don't approve their posts in time. Also - full disclosure - one of my co-workers had two errors. One, he selected Matt Olson twice, and secondly, he didn't know Olson is out 6-8 weeks. That won't reflect on his post. I'll post his changes - which were made before the deadline - in the discussion thread here.
  10. You can up until the deadline - just give me a heads up that you did it, so I can update your roster.
  11. I've sent out reminder PMs to players who played last year, but haven't signed up yet. I'll be sending them another round tomorrow.
  12. I was just made aware that there is another Japan series this season, that will be the "official" start to the MLB regular season. I am not going to change any of our deadlines, and since it is just two games, it won't have that much of an impact on our game here.
  13. C Willson Contreras $25 1B Paul Goldschmidt $100 2B Ozzie Albies $75 3B Kris Bryant $50 SS Javier Baez $100 OF Ronald Acuña Jr. $75 OF Mike Trout $200 OF Aaron Judge $75 OF Joey Gallo $200 DH Mookie Betts $100 -------------------------------- Total $1,000
  14. To clarify - you don't have to pick players from my grouping of players for Bench players. You can pick anyone who isn't in the salary tiers.
  15. Keep all discussions, questions and transactions here. Good luck to everyone on a successful 2019 campaign!
  16. Hello everyone, and welcome to the kick off thread for the 2019 HR Derby at Northside Baseball! Here is the link again to our Wiki page for this game, and it has all info you need to select your 2019 HR Derby team! Please be sure to use that Wiki for your player info, rules, and details. Be sure to come back here, to post your team entry to this thread. We have LOTS of New Rules this season - so be sure to read up on the latest! If you have any questions - please ask in the Discussions thread.
  17. Barring any further issues with the Wiki site, the 2019 threads will go live tonight!
  18. Okay - I am 90% done with everything. Just need to re-write the Rules for the upcoming season and then code it all for the Wiki site. Should be by week's end at the latest, but I'm shooting for sooner.
  19. Still working on it... hang in there! :hello:
  20. I thought by starting in October, I would have this figured out by now. I have all the groupings updated (including players on new teams), but I'm still working out the logistics for new rules, team construction, etc. With tomorrow being March 1, my hope is to have this wrapped up by the end of this weekend. I will keep everyone posted.
  21. https://www.mlb.com/cut4/best-mlb-stories-of-2018/c-302205590 While your backyard dream would be to defeat the rival Cardinals... the game was against the Washington Nationals, as well all know.
  22. Profar was traded ... not to the Cubs... I'm having so much fun watching all the players that were "rumored" to either be traded here, or sign here... go elsewhere. It's just what I wanted for my MLB Christmas.
