    I’ve give you the offense. When Chili Davis is fired later this week I am going to buy my first newspaper since November 3, 2016, tear out the article and hang it on my fridge over my daughters drawings there ya go. even in these difficult times we can still find common ground on that issue.

    their offense has been straight up terrible for a while now. they’re playing at a “90 win pace” because the pitching has been good and their competition has been a wet trash pile. the brewers have taken care of business (and then some). but the cubs, who had like a 95% chance of winning the division like 10 days ago have, in fact, blown it.* * assuming this doesn’t turn into the Allen Webster Game

    I mean the Brewers will go 24-10 to finish the season. Sure the Cubs could have played that well but it’s a valid excuse as is the Cubs never having an off day while I believe the Brewers had 5 the brewers had a red hot finish because they played a bunch of shitty, non-trying teams as half of baseball is actively trying to lose. cubs played many of those same shitty, non-trying teams. also the brewers whipped the cubs’ ass head to head. brewers played out of their minds for a month but if you end the season losing 4/7 at home to pirates and cardinals, it’s partially on you.
