I think you mean DHing and that would be Jack Cust. He's 33, but showing no real signs of slowing down offensively. Though he's had some nagging back (I think) troubles this year. Fox could be part of a deal, though, if Beane thinks Cust's back issues that have forced him to the DH role are temporary. Whoops. I did indeed mean DH. If Fox could play a decent 1B, I could see Oakland interested. Right now they have Giambi, but I dont see him there for long. Obviously, for Holliday, wed need to put together a package at least similar to the Harden one. I figure Marshall or Wells could be the Gallagher of the deal, with Jake Fox as the Murton and maybe Steve Clevenger or Tyler Colvin as the Eric Patterson. Some fringe A-AA guy could be the 4th man. IM asuming, much like last year we might get another player as well. Mike Wuertz would be great, but I doubt that will happen. I would accept Russ Springer though. It is doable. The question is, would it be more practical to go after more of a stop gap type of player like Atkins or Branyan.
