Now that Jeff Baker crossed the plate, every Cub has scored a run.

Its only the 2nd inning, and every player on our team has a hit, all but 2 have and RBI and all but 1 have scored a run.

This is like beating the crap out of the president of the chess club for no reason after the captain of the football team stuffed you in a locker and flushed your head down the toilet.

A win's a win. Obviously, I want to win, but even if we sweep this series, Im going to have to see what happens on the always painful west coast road trip before I tell myself this team has a chance again. Who cares if its agaisnt a crap team. We play alot of crap teams the rest of the way, if we can domintate them like we have the entire 2nd half, and just try to even play .500 against the "good" teams, we will be right in the race till the end. Problem is, we havnt able to play .500 against good teams. Granted we dont play a lot of them, but we have 8 games vs. the Dodgers and Giants in their houses. I said a long time ago that if the Cubs are ever going to win a world series, it will be an uphill battle, not like last year where they stormed into the playoffs without looking back.

I have no problem with him as a 4th or 5th OF. However, he shouldn't be playing every day and people shouldn't be saying stupid things like how he should start over Bradley or Fukudome. but he dosnt play every day. Bradleys hurt, and Fukudome was given a game off. Eh, Fukudome is up to bat right now I was refering to a few games ago when Fuld got a start.

I really think Fox can become a solid big leaguer. Even when hes not blasting the ball out of the park he can hit singles and take a walk or 2, something his lefty counterpart was incapable of in the end.

I really dont understand the Fuld hate. The guy gets on base. Its not his fault his team doesnt know what do do when guys get on base. Hes not an all star and never will be, but he does his job, and thats good enough for me.
