If they trade Kubel, I think it definitely helps Sori's market. Even moreso if they deal him to Seattle or some other west coast team Sori wouldn't accept a trade to. Honestly though, its going to be really tough to replace Soriano's power in the middle of the lineup, so I'm thinking he starts the season with us, since we've got at least a punchers chance right now. DeJesus is the OF I could see being dealt. Atlanta, KC, or Seattle all seem like good fits for him. To be honest, I'd have interest in trading for Kubel, depending on the price. Not sure about his defense, but he's a solid high .700s-low/mid .800s bat, and makes 7.5MM in 2013 with a 7.5MM option/1MM buyout for 2014. Certainly the type of player that if we traded for and didn't contend we could probably flip for something similar to what we give up.
