The Cubs travel to Phoenix July 21 - 23 according to the Diamondbacks' tentative home schedule. The Cubs are in Philadelphia on April 10 - 13. The Phillies are at Wrigley August 28-31. The Cubs are in San Francisco June 30 - July 3 according to their tentative home schedule. awesome...june...my birth month...well...i already know i am going to wrigley for the first time next summer...can't wait for these games... sweet!!!

I wouldn't mind one marquee series against a team like Boston if the other opponents are the likes of Baltimore and Tampa Bay, personally. tampa is really very very close to putting together a very nasty team...don't be so quick to overlook them

Yeah, how dare they show a famous victory highlight in their own stadium. When they know its rubbing it in the face of the visiting and majority of fans? Pretty dumb and petty thing to do. Still their victory, still their stadium. Honestly, in the big picture, any Cubs fans' complaining is just sour grapes. I think that's nonsense. This isn't just a Florida thing, lots of teams do this confrontational BS, and it's disgusting. They do it in Philly and NY, and even the Rockies pulled this crap. It basically eggs on bad behavior by the fans. Their house their rules is absurd. There's no justification for that ignorant behavior and obvious attempt to stir up emotions that will lead to problems. this was my first game outside of the 4 i have seen at tropicana field...VERY different environment...first of all...i never thought that i would see less people in a stadium than at tropicana...that was freaking mind-blowing... and playing this type of "in-your-face" video obviously contributed to the rude behavior being witnessed up close and personal last night...

Or was it unveiled only for the Cubs. If it was just for the Cubs, it's pretty lame. Sadly, since there are barely any witnesses to Florida's other home games, we may never know. i don't know...if it is the clip from Game 6...well...then it obviously HAS to be for the cubs...they won the series in Game 7 right? no point in showing a game in which they didn't clinch unless it is to rub it your face

they definitely played a clip of that series...it was a shot to the left center wall at wrigley...so yeah...maybe it was game 6...like i said i was awol from baseball at that time... i really do not understand how they can really stoop so totally low...it is sad... all the cub fans were booing...VERY loudly while it was being played... pure crap

well, just got back from my first cubs game... good times marlins fans are complete jerks...seriously...obnoxious and rude...some other fans and i almost got into a "situation" with one "fan" in particular because of his blatant drunken rude behavior...the ushers came over a few minutes later and had a little "talk" with him though...he was quiet for the rest of the game... i was watching aram's pop fly, so i didn't even see him go up to the ump and say anything...i looked over after it was over and aramis just looked pissed off walking back to the dugout...but yeah...derosa was pretty steamed over his called strike... i am glad i got to see monroe's first homer...i still actually can't believe that actually happened... and i am still pissed that floyd was batting instead of murton at the end of the game.... other than that, the best part of the whole night was the large amount of cub fans and during the seventh inning stretch when they all shout root root root for the CUBBIES...that was AWESOME!!! oh well, 2 games ahead now...grrrrr...i guess we can only pray that they can take the next two...please lord... oh...one more thing...they played...i believe it was game 7 of the NLCS on the big screen during the being of the game between innings...i was awol from baseball at that time so i never saw any of those games... but jeez...how terribly classy of the marlins for showing that... bollocks i tell you, bollocks

what a long, strange trip its been... get back truckin' on!!! i can't even describe how incredibly pumped up i am right now this is absolutely surreal

here is what i am thinking...i live in clearwater, florida it has been raining here for about the past 5 days...usually during the day and then it is just sporadic and short at night time... i think it will rain there today, but will be ok by gametime or shortly thereafter... it is going to wet this whole series...so...they are going to have to try to get them in because it will be pretty hard to get a DH in tomorrow with the daytime rains... just my thoughts on the matter...i am going tonight because the forecast calls for 90% during the day but that drops to 50% by the evening...and if it does rain at all tonight it will probably just be short bursts...

Good. Hopefully the Cubs get KC instead. I'm always irritated that the Cards get 2 series against KC each year. Actually, I think the Cubs are slated to face the AL East this year, but for some reason sometimes odd matchups out of those divisions happen. I am almost positive that we will see the Cubs make a trip to Fenway and Tampa Bay while they will also host the Orioles as none of these 3 events has occured in interleague play yet. i can confirm that the cubs are going to tampa...as i said in some other thread a few days back...i had an interview there and i asked and i was told... yes...the cubbies are coming to tropicana next season...preliminary schedule so i wasn't able to get dates...
