    i think the best case scenario would be bay becoming a met because then they may have what it takes to snag the wildcard and then we could all point and laugh at the brewers

    hamilton's story really bothers you? i think it is a beautiful thing, i even teared up a bit listening to him on the all-star selection show, but that is probably because i identify with him since i was once a drug addict as well honestly, to be at rock bottom and then claw your way back up to waking life is not easy and should definitely be applauded

    good for them gallagher is an awesome kid, but he had to go murton on the other hand wasn't going to play here i am pulling for them big time i wonder if i will still pull for murton if he plays on the rays though :-k

    lets look at what our team has been through already 1. pie got no chance/he didn't impress 2. hill struggled and got sent down 3. eyre has been mr. injury 4. fonzi apparently is in the constantly injured club 5. Z gave us a near heart attack through all of this we have prevailed i think this teams biggest needs have already been mentioned 1. right handed power bat off the bench 2. shut down lefty in the pen if something should happen in CF, for whatever reason i have a feeling...just a very big gut feeling mind you, that pie would step in and fill the void on this last point though, i know i am probably completely wrong if we were to trade for BRob...wouldn't they want pie? what do we then do if one of our CF platoon players goes down or both? i think hendry realizes that this team gels and i don't think he wants to drastically alter the makeup of the ballclub for whatever reason, this year i have put all of my faith in hendry...this is the year to make a run at it and he is doing it...until we fall off the cliff, i am giving him a free pass

Hardy, according to a major-league source. that is exactly what it says on hardy's player notes placard how come i didn't see this anywhere else? do you think they will do it? should we do it? i think his contract is the major problem with this acquisition...

Bow-chicka-wow-wow yep, my friend and i have already talked about this...we may be flying up to chicago if indeed that happens...the vibe there is going to intense... as a side note...is it wrong for me to only want the cubs to win the whole shibang at home!? i mean after waiting this long, it just seems like the only way to go :beg:
