    right...i voted for martin... my first post was a joke since the thread has taken this left turn...i say we just see if anyone will bite on barrett...then bring up soto... why not!? Because when you sell that low on a player that actually has some talent you will get nothing in return, hurting the team in the long run? You were probably joking, this comment is more general than specifically directed at you. I do question why Hill is getting a chance as opposed to Soto...Soto, at least to me, seems to be a much better prospect, I'm curious why he's not being given a shot to play Perhaps the organization thinks that he isn't quite ready? I dunno. actually i was thinking about this today since barrett is on my fantasy team (one of my horrible draft moves)...maybe they didn't bring up soto because they knew hill was just a short term move and they didn't want soto just sitting on the bench until zambrano pitched... barrett getting "time off" probably wasn't even a thought in lou's mind at that point
