they deemed the cubs unwatchable at this point. lol. But no seriously, is it going to be back to normal soon before the game? After the 2nd inning, this is another one of those throwback broadcasts, they decided that the one wasn't enough.
Can anybody explain to me why the D-Backs had Owings go an inning? I heard Len and Bob say a few times that they would use him only if they needed to, they didn't have any other pitcher that could go one inning?
Great thanks to Fox I wont be able to watch this game, even though I paid $180 for MLB Extra Innings, it looks like I'll be watching little 3D guys that look the same on Gameday.
Here's a collage I made with the pictures of the day. I thought about adding one of the AJP pictures, but decided against it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v419/Cubbies2166/Aramis6-20-2008Walk-Off-1.jpg
Did anybody else notice earlier in the game Z threw a pitch that was clocked at 70 and then kind of gave a little smirk. Could it be possible that the injury occurred then and he just pitched through it? I'm pretty sure it was before he gave up the four runs.
Leyland didn't trade for Willis. And Detroiters have bigger concerns than Tigers baseball. Leyland is the one who insists on putting Brandon Inge in the lineup every other day. You also can't say that Willis is the only problem for the Tigers. What happend to 1000 runs? Also what would those bigger concerns be?
Why hasn't there been talk of Jim Leyland and his job security? There isn't much difference between Leyland and Randolph besides Leyland's reputation. The Tigers are playing worse than the Mets (Not the last couple of games) and they had higher expectations.

I'm sure there are more, but these are just the few I found with some quick looking.
I wouldn't be surprised if Marshall or Hill start the Hall of Fame game on the 16th, or if they both pitch that game so that the coaching staff can see them again.
I understand they are in Pittsburgh, but it is ridiculously quiet in that arena. I remember when the Wings won it in Philly and Washington the crowd at least made it known that they were there.
The way the Yankees handled Joba was terrible. He should've pitched 2 innings like he was doing and then make this start in AAA. Once they see that he can pitch 90 pitches or so bring him back up. That Yankee bullpen is terrible, and now they are without their best pitcher, I think this is the year that the Yankees stay in 3rd or 4th place.
They've added this game to the iTunes store for $1.99, based on the 30-second sample it's the CSN broadcast of the game. It's under MLB.com games of the year for anyone interested.
