  1. Given DeRo' #s against Harang, I'd let him start. Theres no good reason at all that Mike Fontenot should be playing over Ronny Cedeno. At all. I think everyone but Lou agrees with this statement. I know, but I figure if I say t enough Lou will think it.

  3. Lee, Fukudome, and Soto should be able to get at least 1 off Weathers.
  4. Seriously though, why is Chad Fox pitching in a non mop-up situation?
  5. Well the offense sure is depressing without Aramis...
  6. fixed It was right the first time.
  7. Zambrano Lilly Dempster Lieber Gallagher sounds good to me. I'll take that third one as well.
  8. Gasp! And just like that the threads are merged, just further confirming my suspicions that this board is haunted.
  9. I know he and Lou don't have a great history. You've gotta think Lou will move him down soon.
  10. No offense but why couldn't this have just gone in the already existing Greene thread?
  11. Sean > Jason
  12. And when DLee and Kosuke are slumping. I'm pretty sure what sori is going thru is more than a "semi-funk"
  13. TY for getting on the phone Larry. IIRC, Lou and Marquis aren't exactly BFF's so you really have to wonder how much of a leash he has left.
  14. I'm sure this has been said but I hope SG is warming up.....
  15. While I doubt any Cub fans are upset that we don't have to face Gallardo anymore this year, I think most of the mocking is aimed directly in Yost's direction. Certainly the case here. Especially after Wood and Prior I hate to see any young talent get sidelined like this, even if its someone on a rival. That said, I find it incredible Yost was absolutely stupid enough to put him back in the game after the. Ned Yost should be publicly tarred and feathered and then fired, this is just insane.
  16. Can we get a clearer definition on "in the works"?
  17. FREE CEDENO and help bring these Cards back to reality.
  18. The 'sham' was the announcement by Lou and Hendry that the closer job was open in ST and the decision would be made based on their performances. Wood had a sore arm the week of the decision, but was given the job anyway. Don't you think it would have made sense to actually have him 'close' a couple of ST games to see how he would do? Seems logical to me. Thanks for clearing that up.
