As somebody who didn't want the Bears to sign Forte to a stupid deal, I'm sort of happy about this. But it's a shot across the Forte camp's bow. As a secondary RB he is an upgrade. So that's nice. That probably came off far more sarcastic than I meant. I don't follow non-Bears football nearly as closely than I do non-Cubs baseball. More of just being unsure as to if this was a good signing. Judging by the feedback on here, it should be a fun offensive season. He's been a nice complementary back in his career. Not too much mileage on his legs, but he did slow down this past year when he received more playing time. He's not going to make that much difference to the offense though. Fair enough. I read that he's apparently a pretty decent receiver for a RB as well.

This might be the best thing that ever happened to Tebow's career. If he can sit behind Manning for a couple years he might actually learn how to be an NFL QB. I can't imagine Tebow would stick around to be backup for 5 years I don't know who's desperate enough to give up anything of value for him. Maybe Jacksonville? Amusingly, Miami may well be.
