As somebody who didn't want the Bears to sign Forte to a stupid deal, I'm sort of happy about this. But it's a shot across the Forte camp's bow. As a secondary RB he is an upgrade. So that's nice. That probably came off far more sarcastic than I meant. I don't follow non-Bears football nearly as closely than I do non-Cubs baseball. More of just being unsure as to if this was a good signing. Judging by the feedback on here, it should be a fun offensive season. He's been a nice complementary back in his career. Not too much mileage on his legs, but he did slow down this past year when he received more playing time. He's not going to make that much difference to the offense though. Fair enough. I read that he's apparently a pretty decent receiver for a RB as well.
