YES! 2.5 games back baby. The Cubs are going to just take it from them. Oh yeah, Brewers announcers are HUGE homers. Who cares if they have the best record in the NL when the lead is only 2 1/2 games? :lol: That's a hallow victory.

Wow, the Brewers bullpen is in full implosion mode. If the Giants hold on and win tonight this may benefit the Cubs both today and tomorrow b/c CV and Turnbow maynot be available tomorrow afternoon (quick turnaround).

Actually, it's on WGN (12:05pm start). If it were a Fox game the start time would be 2.55pm CT.

NLDS, Game 2, Kendall hits a GW-homerun to tally his first hit as a Cub, after starting out 0-117. Just a guess. LOL, I'd be very happy with that scenario.

Everyone points to June 3 as the beginning of the hot streak. That was the last game of a home series with AtL (they lost that series 1 game to 2). The Cubs went to MIL for three games and the rest is history. The Cubs are now 29-13 since June 13. That's a whopping .690 winning % EDIT: I meant 29-13 since June 3.

Sorriano, Rameriz, Pegan, Kendal, and Fonteniot aren't on the Cubs, so barring a major trade, that lineup is far off. Don't forget "Derosa." He isn't on the team either. ;) If we're going to count capitalizaton mistakes, jones isn't on the team either. I think it's a little more than that. DeRosa is different than jones.

FYI, DeRo is off today and for those who haven't peeked at the Transactions section, Scott Moore has been recalled and Ward is on the DL. So Moore or Fox will play 1B.

DeRo is scheduled to be off today. We'll se how it plays out for the rest of DLee's suspension.
