    Well, the Padres just got swept by the Mariners so who knows? The Padres bullpen was surprisingly leaky during that series... Honestly no team scares me in the NL. We match up with anyone. We should've beat them last series if it wasn't for our pen. Every team has their faults. I could be wrong here, but I believe it would be Weaver's turn in the rotation for the Mariners and I would hope the Cubs could jump on him. Unless he gets pushed back based on his back injury yesterday. Weaver's probably pitching Thursday

    I don't mind the blown save, it's the loss that gets me. In 2005, the Cubs won every game where he had a blown save... Anyway, stuff happens. This game, with the ump throwing out Lilly and putting us behind the 8 ball, was not one I wanted to lose. The bright side is they can shake it off rather quickly tomorrow. Both the Cards and Brewers are off on Monday so the Cubs can add a win without scoreboard watching. Z vs Woody Williams. Zambrano needs to be efficient and effective tomorrow.

    I won't go that far. I still think the Cubs will win the division. The Brewers aren't infallible. Plus, they play the Tigers and Twins this week after loosing a series against the Rangers. They have their own problems. I agree, but 3/4 would've been so sweet! I totally agree [silver lining] 4-3 roadtrip [/silver lining]

    There you go. Typical! I have no faith in Barrett blocking things in the dirt. Not really sure how you could blame Barrett for that. And I am in no way a Barrett fan. That was just an awful pitch. The whole mess was Dempster's fault but Barrett routinely lets that type of pitch sneak through.
