    I didn't cry foul over the bullpen. Whoops. What would I do? Make Wuertz the primary set-up man. Use whomever in the 7th inning - Howry has show signs of breaking out of his slump. Between Marmol and Guzman, at least one of them is only going to get bench time. There are 6 other guys in the pen besides Eyre. Marshall will do worse than Guzman in the rotation. Guzman has the higher ceiling and is the guy you want in the rotation for years to come, why cut his innings as he's still learning how to get big leaguers out. Who cares if you stop the bleeding? This team isn't making the playoffs. Oh Jesus H. Christ. I am getting so tired of this crap. Look, I understand the complaints about the maneuvering, I too would rather see Guzman in the rotation but can we not count the Cubs out of the playoffs after 40 games? Its ok in the game thread but seriously get a grip, Guzman wasn't starting just for his development.

    I wasn't paying too much attention but the post-game interview with Lou I thought I heard him say it was "improbable." Might be wrong though.

    Wow what is going on here? I can't get either links to work as someone before me (404 error) so then I try the latest link and once again it didn't work. I got: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below. Is there any chance theres another route to hearing this?

    Can we just get rid of Blanco and cut our losses? He can't hit, he can't throw anyone out, hes pretty much useless in every category except "great staff handler."

    OK. They can stop scoring now. I have Suppan on a few fantasy teams. that's your own fault... root for cobs, not fantasy but but, i wanna do both!

    It won't rain for another 3 hours - those hour-by-hours are updated about once every 12 hours or so. The rain has either pushed out of NYC or is about to in the next 10 minutes or so. If they waited this long, I can't see why they'd call the game. sweet. thanks for the information.

    Thats because you are old. I was born in 86 and reading about him made me feel old, I'm still getting used to seeing prospects out of high school drafted that are younger than me.

    Yeah, I agree! I think the Cubs will fire Rothschild. that makes my brain hurt success... she's MINE! It seems like every day, I'll see someone post something of authenticity (like bruce or someone siting a very reliable source), and immediately afterwards, someone posts something that they THINK, and it goes 100% against what has been said as "law". So it is your job to fill in that vacancy if such occurrence does not occur?
