I would argue that we should be cheering for the Brewers. While the Brewers are threatening to take our division lead, at least with them winning, and presumably knocking the Cardinals back, it becomes a 2 team race instead of a 3 team race. That statement is filled with hope and certainty that this current Cubs streak is just a fluky aberration. If not, it will very quickly turn into a 3-team race from the Cubs' POV.

If it gets us turned around, fine... but at the same time, to think one man can mean so much to a team/season. Good thing it was just 6 weeks and not a season-ending injury! -
