    You know what, since I am still of the firm belief that our only real postseason chance is winning the Central, I am gonna root against the Cardinals too. But I'm gonna leave the generality of rooting against the Dodgers (for WC sake) the same.

    I feel sorry for Len and Bob... to have to sit through the promos - or do the promos themselves - for those stupid shows that WGN runs. I can just see them with their hands covering their eyes and shaking their heads when those ads come up.

    Tell me about it. We scored 5-6 runs TOTAL in Houston (who's well under .500), and we've got near 50% more runs than that in just 4 innings in Colorado (who's a bit OVER .500). Go figure. "The ups and downs" of a long season, I suppose.

    Teams go through rough patches and good patches, it happens. Not to mention yesterday's game was a little bit of bad luck as well. It's pretty hard to have 17 baserunners and only get 2 runs. Tonight, the RISP numbers are good again, and those baserunners are scoring in bunches. I don't know the exact numbers, but it HAD to be somewhere near 0-30 for the Cubs w/ RISP in that whole series vs the Astros - going by what Len was saying last night anywho - before they finally did something about it late last night. That's a little more than just "a little bad luck".

    Being up 10-1 in the 4th inning is soooo awesome, but man, at the same time... this is hard to watch. WHERE THE HELL WAS SOME OF THIS ANY OF THE LAST 3 DAYS!?!?! *sigh* Sorry for the rant. Thanks for listening, though! :P

    Cubs are 1-14 vs Ubaldo, and that one hit coming from a guy who probly won't be playing tomorrow. And the Rocks' players who have faced Lilly are a combined .344 vs him. 16-2 kinda loss here we come! Saweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! :cry:

    Cubs get swept this series by a combined score of 54-9. Can't wait!! :( Ok, slight exageration, but the Cubs have some seriously bad mojo to purge from their systems, and the sooner they started this process, the much better for them and us fans.

    15 hits and 3 runs after 23 inning in the Juice Box. Cubs better save some of this explosive offense for the rest of the season, would hate to run out too soon.
