    This is great, you can just sense that Brewer fans are watching the season slipping away. We still have to play the games, but they are blowing a huge opportunity tonite with a Padres team coming in that is fighting for their post-season lives. They've sunk so low that the clueless Brewer announcers are showing fans relying on the "Bartman curse". I never thought I'd feel this good about our chances an hour ago.

    Brewers don't score in 7th. Who knows- maybe in the midst of all this darkness we'll come out fine at the end of the night. At least we aren't Mets fans. I'm sure they've chewed all their fingernails off by now.

    Congrats on the take of the night. When you consider that the Cubs would only need to win ONE lousy game the rest of the season if the Brewers & Pads were to split (which is quite likely) should the Cards win, it would be a huge boost to maintain a 2 game lead with four to play.
