  1. ARAMADOUBLE! 3-0 Let's make this a non save situation and get Howry up!
  2. They had 1st and 3rd, 1 out... a sac bunt moved the runner to 3rd.
  3. Reds announcers mentioned he hasn't allowed a run since the ASB break. Please tell me that it's Marty Brenneman actually complimenting a Cubs player.
  4. Nicely done, Carlos. How about a couple GEICO insurance runs
  5. Brewers leave 2 more on in the 6th. Sheets done, Shouse in. 5-2 Astros in the 7th
  6. I'm torn -- if his PC was in the 85-90 range, I would leave him in. With it at 94, I feel ok about taking him out. However, he's on such a roll, I would at least let him go out and start the 8th. If we had runners on base, I'd have def. pinch hit for him.. Guess in the end its a crapshoot. Let's hold them Marmol and Wood!
  7. Looks like Harden's done. I really really really really hope he gets a win that he so badly deserves!
  8. Geoff Blum. How about that. One of the untold stories of the 2nd half: Sheets' downturn. Sheets hasn't been awful, but he's been far from great. Always seems like he's really good early on, then has one bad inning. Fine with me though. That's why I chose my wording carefully there. Since CC became the ace, Sheets has been more like the 3 than the 2. That's what I meant. He certainly hasn't been the 1a that the Crew was hoping for. Agreed. That said, he only gave up 3 to the Padres though in his last outing, he shut out the Natspos prior to that, and 2 ER through 6 IP in a loss to the Braves.
  9. Sheets is due up in the bottom of the 6th. Gotta think that with a PC of 96 and the Crew down 3, he's done. Even Ned Yost can't be that stupid, can he?

  11. He's been there for about a week He had a damn good series in Atlanta, and was decent in Florida. .233 /.303 /.433 on the road trip. I'd hardly call that a bad slump. I'd call it a slight regression, but not a slump
  12. He's been there for about a week He had a damn good series in Atlanta, and was decent in Florida.
  13. Harden puts down a sac bunt to 3B... Soto goes halfway between 3rd and home, breaks for the plate as they throw Harden out at first. Soto scores. Kosuke to 3rd.. Excellent baserunning by Soto
  14. Cameron just tried scoring on a basehit to right. Pence gunned him down. Still tied at 2 for now.
  15. Because then he'll pop to the warning track behind the plate. Call for a strikeout or something.
