  1. It's nice to be on the other side of Maddux's inability to hold baserunners.
  2. Exactly-Miller should have given up 1 run, on a bloop and a hard hit double (the one by Gonzalez, not Giles). When you give up line drives, you're lucky if a defender is right there to make the catch. Miller doesn't have anything to complain about. He sucked.
  3. Miller sucks. He really really sucks. Miller sucks. He really really sucks.
  4. Agree. What the hell are they thinking..Guzman looked great last night. This organization is beyond repair in terms of stupidity. Well, he probably should be starting, and not just getting a few innings here and there in mop up games.
  5. What makes it a valid comparison in your eyes?
  6. Then it's doable... It is. But teams may view Ohman as a valuable commodity and put in a claim for him. The Score is saying the DL is an option. They can invent some injury for him. OR, he's been injured all along. Ah...I remember when Remlinger suddenly caught his finger in the chair when a roster spot was needed. Maybe Ohman stubbed his toe or something. I forgot about that.
  7. The Pie/Granderson comparison is a poor one, IMO. Their age differences at each level is a big deal, like the poster above said.
  8. Pie isn't a leadoff hitter and people don't have to worry about that long term. Soriano is going to be leading off for the next 8 years. Pie will get more ABs this way. Putting him down in the lineup really makes us unbalanced with Cedeno, Blanco and Miller at the tail end.
  9. Isn't it great when you don't have to doze through commercials?
  10. None that we could decipher. There was some scattered Pie speculation, but our best guess is that Lou was trying Murt in right in preparation for a Floyd/Fonz/Murt outfield at some point. It also sounds like Jones' slow release (extra crow hop and then airmail/spike) hasn't gone unnoticed. Murton has a quicker release, not to mention a more accurate arm, even if it isn't as strong as Jones'.
  11. What in the world is going on with this kid? I hope he gets it together and has a great season.
  12. Wilken is awesome. I thought that quote was hilarious.
  13. Ohman sucks. He really really sucks. Ohman sucks. He really really sucks.
  14. Gooz look flat out filthy in that inning. Even that double was a bloop.
