  1. I couldn't even watch the game but I can rest assured knowing that the Ump is in no way the reason we lost this game....going scoreless for the last 9 innings...now THAT might have something to do with it...maybe. You mean the botched DLee CS call at 3B just prior to the ARam HR didn't cost a run?
  2. I see we're back to free swinging Jones when the game's on the line.
  3. Wow. I left after the 7th and come back to find this...
  4. You stopped breathing? better than stopping drinking..... er, umm, back to step 1 Inconceivable!!
  5. Um...you do it. I'm scared. I'm thinking we pay Izzy to do it. Then if Z goes postal, we solve our problem at SS. It's win-win.
  6. Somebody punch Z in the stomach every time he walks a batter.
  7. Would they have run on Pie?? Yeah. I just hate watching Jones throw. That's all I meant. I don't know, watch the replay. He was barely around 3rd when Jones fielded that ball AND he hesitated in his throw (only to do the hopity skipity thing). Yeah, he might have got him, but I'd think they'd have sent him on Pie as well. You have to gun down quite a few runners before teams start respecting your arm. Very true. But it does play to the fact that this OF (as it is tonight) has a defense that no one will respect (with the exception of Alf's arm from LF). Well, the worms are scared of Jones.

  9. I love how it takes him 20 minutes to stroll to the mound. It builds the tension, I love it as well. He's the Vargas of mound visits.

  11. I love Jones' throwing motion. Hop, hop, skip, hop, throw.
