  1. And people say that he doesn't have an arm. psh ;) And he nails him at home! That was some of the laziest 2nd to home baserunning I've ever seen, but ya, a nice throw.
  2. Rich Hill is much too good to be on teams like the 2006 and 2007 Chicago Cubs.
  3. I highly doubt they trade Salty for the likes of the Jock. They could get someone of much higher value for him. Salty's value to the Braves is severely diminished if he has to change positions. It doesn't mean he'll cost less to acquire, but it does mean he'll be more likely to be dealt. The catchers in our org suck. Let's hope the Cubs are all over Salty. If the Braves deal Salty to the Cubs, they will want one of Veal, Gallagher, or Marmol. I was just gonna say that. I can't see them taking any less valuable of a player. We might as well hold onto our talent and hope Fox can put it together behind the plate and/or we draft Wieters. I could care less about Veal, Gallagher, and Marmol at this point. Not one of those players has a ceiling above a #2 starter. Veal and Marmol are a long way from their ceilings and Gallagher profiles as a #3 at best. Let's not fall too in love with our prospects. Saltalamacchia is a hitting machine.

  5. How many pitches is he throwing these days?
  6. My condolences to his family and friends. I'm glad they postponed today's game.

  9. I'm not too pleased with this draft. I guess we'll see in 3 years.
  10. Lets hope Angelo can make up for that last pick. Yeah, I'm not too high on Bazuin. Maybe he'll turn out to be another JA miracle pick, but I doubt it.
  11. Not to tear the guy down, but those stats were against some very mediocre competition.
  12. Why did we just take a guy that would have been there early on the second day?
  13. What was the trade?
  14. Holy cow that's quite a booty! Nice job by Jerry. Somebody just got bent.
