What? This inning could really get away then we'd be angry because no one was warming in the 'pen. He wasn't pitching that badly. He was consistently 0-1 on hitters until Eyre got up...and then magically he goes 3-0 on that hitter. Coincidence? I think not. Plus, Eyre is packing a gas can with him to the mound. Wrong guy to put in the game anyways.

jones is exactly the type of player the A's don't want. doesn't take pitches. terrible defender (though they've had less of a problem with this part in the OF lately). What Jones are you talking about? Jacque Jones has been anything but impatient at the plate and poor defensively in 2007. Currently he's sporting a .065 IsoD in 97 AB. 8-) -
