We'd tear them up basing anything on tonight's game is stupid Oh I'm not basing anything on tonight's game. I just think they're a decently talented team and they're good enough to not get swept.

Seconded, Cubs win in 6. Anyone think the Cubs first round opponent is immaterial? That is, their most difficult task is going to be winning the first series, if they clear this hurdle, the WS will be Cub Blue. I'm in complete agreement. We're not losing in the NLCS. We could lose or win either of the other rounds, but if we get to the NLCS we're winning it. We're better than any other NL team, but that might be negated by a 5 game series. It's more likely to show in a 7 game series. And I'd say we're evenly matched with the AL's best.

Actually despite the fact that they were horrible, I went to a few games down the stretch in 2006 and they were fun. It really was just the true fans left. Everyone was really bitter, but since it was September and was no longer cool to be at the game, the crowd was fun. I went to that Dodgers game where Bynum had like 4 errors in the first 3 innings. Oh don't get me wrong, the end of 06 was kinda fun in a quirky way. I was at that game too and it was epic comedy. Heck, the whole season was epic comedy.
