I tend to believe that if a guy still produces in the counting stats even with poor rate stats (which is sort of Soriano's entire career), he can still be considered reasonably productive, subjectively. Am I wrong? Wait, what? Poor rate stats would make the counting stats almost irrelevant.

    The Dodgers were getting throughly dominated all day. There were two outs in the 9th. Loney hit it fairly weakly right to Holliday. Something tells me the crowd wasn't waving those white towels much anyway.

    If Burrell was to bounce back anywhere close to his pre-2009 numbers, we'd be acquiring an outstanding hitter. But yeah, the defense would suffer and there's no guarantee he's going to return to form.

I realize Hanson is a superior prospect. I don't even think Wells IS a prospect. Why are you guys so freaking mean and condescending? Wait, what? You say something completely ridiculous by comparing Hanson to Wells and then you are stunned that someone calls you out on it? Get thicker skin.
