  1. Well, he could put on a mitt and man first base.
  2. Gracey?! YES! I didn't know they welcomed him back. Would've liked a bigger ovation from the crowd...
  3. Wind blowing in, and DBacks are low-power. If Marquis can't pitch well this game, we really are in trouble with him. I honestly think Lou will stop putting up with Marquis if he continues not being able to go five. Lord only knows who would step in, but I doubt Lou cares how much money Jason's making.
  4. It's a solid game. They improved a lot of the sloppy visual issues from last year, and the game play has some nice new touches. Running the ball has never been so fun.
  5. there's the bright side i've been searching for 8-) Fontenot swells up with pride after finding out he's hitting third, then makes lou look like a genius as he drives in four. recap reads: Mike Fontenot pulls a Koyie Hill. cubs win, everybody goes home happy and then gets drunk and plays NCAA Football 08. Amen to that one!
  6. I'm sure I've seen a worse lineup before. I just can't remember when. C Blanco 1B Mabry 2B Perez SS Cedeno 3B Ramirez LF Murton CF Pierre RF Jones
  7. Call up Hendry and tell him he's still alive. If Murton wants to get back, all he has to do is become a switch hitter. Who cares if he can hit from that side, all I know is that Hendry see's "Switch Hitter" and creams his pants. He doesn't even bother reading the splits Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me Hendry reads splits?
  8. Before this year we also had a boatload of trouble with the Giants. I'm not worried about the past, I'm worried about the present. We're the better team and we should take the series.
  9. Bingo. I point to that game as the reason we didn't win the pennant. someone try to find a dumber managerial move than that one. you cant. How bout 1 game prior when Dusty chose to face Mike Lowell instead of Lenny Harris? Lenny Harris is the best pinch hitter ever, dude.
  10. Cedeno's clearly not going to get a chance. Might as well trade him.
  11. This'll be a tough one, but the D-Backs are apparently an easy win these days. Don't suck Cubs!
  12. So in the not at all impossible event we go to extras we have no one on the bench.
  13. Some insurance runs sound REALLY good right here.
  14. http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/3532/barryshitmz9.png
  15. Rammy, the Giants can hit it out... so can you.
  16. Uh, how much should we get mad at Will? He struck him out using the actual strike zone.
  17. With Wuertz' command and Bonds' zone he would've walked him on 2 pitches.
  18. I'd hope Bonds could hit home runs when anything he doesn't swing at is deemed a ball. And of course, way to go Wuertz.
  19. I don't know if I would say that but I've haven't been comfortable since the bottom of the first. Good teams find ways to win games when your starter has less than his best stuff. No, good teams find ways to win about 9 of 10 games that your starter has good stuff. Less than best? Maybe half of them.
  20. Do we have any relievers who do throw a lot of strikes? Marmol! :)
  21. This reminds me of the Colorado comeback game in every way except the fact I'm not at this one.
  22. Double play would be really nice here. Anything that keeps the tying run from coming to the plate in the form of Barry Bonds is a positive.
