  1. I disagree simply because it's a bullpen inning we'll need tomorrow with Marquis starting.
  2. cubs are gonna lose anyway... why crush the bullpen in the first game of the series? 4-0 is not insurmountable. Hamels has given up the long ball this year. Take him out and try holding them at 4-0, and who knows maybe they can start edging back into the game. They have been very good late in the game lately, and if I recall correctly, Phillys bullpen sucks I don't really trust our offense to come back in this game. Stranger things have happened this year Seriously. Anything can happen.
  3. Send Lilly out for one more. Gotta save the bullpen, because it'll be needed tomorrow.
  4. The only position I'm really upset he's not making an effort to improve is right field, because there's certainly guys out there that would be available.
  5. Oh man, all I asked for and more. Thank you!
  6. I fail to see how many here seem to think that acquiring Ryan Church would make Felix Pie expendable.
  7. So... can the Phillies pen come out any play?
  8. Unlike Juan Pierre, that actually applies to Theriot. He's at an excellent SB% right now.
  9. Gonna be a tough play? That wasn't tough at all, Len.
  10. WOW! There was nothing more the catcher could have done there.
  11. Oh man, the highly anticipated return of Matt Murton will be upon us shortly!
  12. Just got home, how has Lilly looked? Don't like this jam he's in...
  13. This isn't true. Lock it up.
  14. I had heard that Gagne wouldn't approve any deal in which he wouldn't end up as the closer. Not sure why the Sox would change that...
  15. Wow, I had no idea that calling out Joe Carter would lead to a pissing match.
  16. So is Paps going to go into the rotation? If so, it's excellent.
  17. The more I think about it, the more I like this potential move. Quite frankly, we don't have a legitamate power threat behind Ramirez. DeRosa's got decent pop, but he's not the best protection you could ask for. Dye would be an excellent #5 hitter in this lineup and he would make Cliff Floyd into a useful bench player.
