  1. I honestly don't get this. I know you wanna save your best pinch hitters for later, but every run counts and this is a premium scoring chance.
  2. How does someone not score from second on a double?
  3. Marquis should be removed from the rotation immediately.
  4. I've already put the game against Gorzelanny in the loss column, so we really need to win the others.
  5. 2-2-1, 2-3-2 If the Cubs win the division, they will not be seeded lower than three. Currently, they would match up against the D-Backs in the first round, I believe, as the Padres are the wild card and two opponents from the same division cannot play in the first round.
  6. This can only help.
  7. A win coupled with a Brewers loss would make it exceedingly difficult for us to not win the division.
  8. Suppan's gonna get shelled. That Braves offense is pretty deadly.
  9. You mean ESPN is overhyping him? BLASPHEMY!
  10. Then I'm ridiculously glad you're not the general manager.
  11. And we're back up to 71.79337%. Anyone able to calculate what percentage 1.5 would put us at?
  12. Youtube used to have up a WGN made montage of the 2004 season, and it was just beyond awesome. Unfortunately, it has been taken down, presumably due to copyright issues.
  13. Cocaine's a hell of a drug. nice post. Anything to back up that claim? Or do you just like slandering people? http://blog.dreamhost.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/serious.jpg
  14. If you're like me, you've been wanting Dunn for a long time. I'm guessing the odds of his coming here voluntarily are negatively impacted by this. Id just assume not have another guy whose going to strike out every other at bat. I know who we should get then... Juan Pierre!
  15. Well, you should be, as the Padres are much much better than the Brewers.
  16. Imagine what our odds would be if we hadn't been swept by Houston and Florida. If we don't make the playoffs, those two series are the reason.
  17. I'd say the loss column really matters when we have less games to play, few enough that the Brewers would realistically win the remainder of them. Looking at the schedule, it wouldn't be at all surprising if the Brewers lose on both of our offdays, negating the loss column advantage. The odds are still in our favor to win this division. If we don't win it, it's certainly not because of anything but the Cubs not getting it done.
  18. That makes 3. You, Scott and his mom. And each and everyone of his clients.
  19. Cubs will win, Brewers will lose. I'm extremely confident in both of those for no reason in particular.
  20. Win tomorrow and all is well.
  21. I didn't t and still don't think we're gonna win, but I really thought that Jacque was going to get a hit.
