His second half OPS is actually a 41 point improvement over the first half. You're right about the BABIP though, as that has dropped from .397 to a more sustainable .324.
Just want to check up on this pre-ASB hot topic. In the second half, he has hit 15 homers, put up a .544 SLG%, and a .931 OPS. My worries have disappeared. Have your's?
If we make the playoffs and he's on the roster I'll contemplate suicide. I don't think he'll be on the roster. I think we've seen the last of Trachsel as a Cub. That is until during tonights game the camera pans to him in the pen and Len & Bob quickly make excuses for him. Bob won't make any excuses for him; he's not a catcher.
Agreed. I wouldn't object if they kept both, but I consider the must-return relievers to be Wood, Marmol, and Howry. Pretty much true. Though Eyre will almost certainly be back as well.
I'm pretty sure the Cubs could handle any team from the Eastern Conference. I think the Cubs could take the Colts in 7 games, unless Peyton pitched all 7 CUT THAT MEAT!! I'd kill a snitch. I'm not saying I have, I'm not saying I haven't.
