Let's assume for the moment the Dodgers fall out of contention (and it looks like they might) and put Lowe on the market. In those years he pitched 222, 218, and 199.1 innings. He's a workhorse, he gets ground balls, and he maintains a K:BB ratio between 2:1 and 3:1 pretty consistently. That said, he's 35 and having a pretty rough year so far. I've been wanting Lowe on the Cubs for a long time. What do you guys think it would take? A package with some combination of Ceda, Marshall, Gallagher, and Cedeno perhaps? Certainly not someone like Pie.
