  1. Did that really happen? Awesome awesome awesome. That's the funniest thing in the history of message boards.
  2. One of the absolute best in person sporting events in the world, IMO.
  3. Turning things around wasn't the objective. so we taught the organization an important life lesson that in no way improved play on the field. hurray? Doing nothing could have made things worse' date=' on and off the field. I thought that was implied with the "inmates running the asylum" comment.[/quote] lisa, i would like to buy your rock If the team really wanted to teach Zambrano a lesson in humility, they would have immediately shipped him off to either Pittsburgh or Baltimore. That way he would be forced to play the remainder of his miserable overpaid career in an empty stadium with no chance of competing for a division title. With us paying his entire salary! LET'S DO IT!
  4. This argument is just bizarre. I'm almost as good as my friend at FIFA 10 but he still beats me more often than not. I'm "worse" than him at FIFA despite the fact I'm also good.
  5. Kosuke's not really garbage.
  6. Dan Gilbert has a jillion dollars and can't find a font that isn't reminiscent of a Geocites page? Guy in the ESPN chat said it looks like an invite to a picnic. http://bancomicsans.com/ I am unapologetic for my love of Comic Sans. http://www.mcsweeneys.net/links/monologues/15comicsans.html ^Hilariously awesome. I promise.
  7. When is the last time anyone thought he was going to the Bulls?
  8. The bar is chanting "burn it," I think. I'm guessing they just took his jersey down or something.
  9. Bar stream makes this better.
  10. Yeah, I have little doubt about that now.
  11. The other teams aren't going to be waiting on pins and needles if the team that it is found out, dude.
  12. "Opportunity" - leaving.
  13. Yeah, absolutely.
  14. Come on. This sucks.
  15. Leo Burnett did that independently of the Bulls front office, so I'd hope that wouldn't be something that'd stop him from coming. Jay Williams of ESPN claims that LeBron is going to the Knicks.
  16. PDCavsInsider: The location of LeBron's announcement is not expected to be in one of the cities he's considering. Will keep the guessing going. I'm becoming more optimistic, actually.
  17. I find it so hard to believe he'd go to the Knicks.
  18. From Cleveland PD twitter: As of now, there are no plans for LeBron to make announcement at St. Vincent-St. Mary. Obviously the location is a huge tipoff.
  19. Honestly, I don't think this press conference makes it any more or less likely he's staying in Cleveland. I think he will personally, but this conference definitely doesn't make me think that's any more likely... at all.
  20. I wonder if we should expect a Wade or Bosh decision before this.
  21. I think the possies are much bigger nowadays. If Reinsdorf keeps the biggest FA in the history of sports from signing with his team because he doesn't want to give LeBron's buddies special priviledges he is a stupid owner. And Reinsdorf is not a stupid man. If you want to give James' boy jobs or whatnot within the organization, so be it. If you allow them to ride on the same plan as the team (albeit they have to ride coach, while the team/org is first class), so be it. If you want to give his boys a suite at game. Cool. But if you go beyond that by giving his crew power by proxy (rumors have it that his boys have power within the Cavs org even if James isn't around), meaning dictate organization policies, and whatnot, then I would have tell him no, and not regret it. Yeah, I doubt LeBron's posse is doing much of anything to dictate important organizational policy.
  22. Unless it's true that they told LeBron his crew wouldn't get special privileges I agree with the Bulls on that. Well, you shouldn't.
  23. Not saying it would work out this way, but if they traded Byrd wouldn't be better to put Kosuke in CF and Colvin in RF? Even when hes not hitting, in RF, Kosuke proves his worth as a defensive specialist, however, in CF hes average at best. The same can be said about Colvin, except he doesn't provide a defensive boost anywhere.
  24. Wait is this actually true?
