  1. Well Said. I hate that term when it is used in the playoffs "Winning Ugly" The Bears played a hard fought game. They made some mistakes, but made a bunch of huge plays too, Grossman, the running game, the WR's, the defense..everyone. Gene Wojocrapski is such a tool, the best part of him ran down the crack of his mommy's arse and wound up a brown stain on the mattress. GO BEARS!
  2. I hope the Bears shadow Colston with Tillman, like they did with Plaxico Burress. That matchup favors the Bears.
  3. After today's game, I'm convinced the Bears must re-sign Briggs. He was just a beast. They lose without him today, IMO.
  4. Gene Wojciechowski is a livin pile of sheeet. Hell with the haters, BEAR DOWN!
  5. Great Game. I wonder if the SeaChicken fans are blaming the refs for this loss yet.
  6. one of the most boring playoff games ever.
  7. PSU does better with non-skill positions. O-Line, full back, special teams, etc. Every week in our local paper they show a listing of ex-PSU players and what they did that week in the NFL. Sadly, there are only about a dozen right now, with Johnson, Gould and Drummond doing the best week to week I'm stilll bitter about the Michael Haynes pick. How about Curtis Enis and Bobby Engram? I never had a problem with Engram. He was what he was. Engram has had a nice NFL career, why was he let go again?
  8. or drink enough before the game so you can't feel the cold

  10. Hodge wasn't that bad in the limited time he played for us this season. I don't think tackles are the best way to judge what a LB can do because, like goony mentioned, every LB is going to have a ton of chances to make tackles. I always thought Hodge > Greenway.
  11. Personally, I would avoid PSU like the plague, draft wise. Yeah, Larry Johnson worked out, and Tambi Hall had a nice rookie year, but far too many NFL busts from that school.
  12. Let's see. Take the last 4 losses for example. All games where we had a lead of greater than 12 points, but in the 2nd half, the opposing team makes adjustments, we fail to make adjustments, and they come back and win. How many games have we won in the last two minutes this season? How many have we lost? One of the most important aspects of being a basketball coach is managing the final two minutes. Skiles is horrible at doing that. Whatever, I'm not going to get in an argument about it. I've shifted my stance from a complete 360. Maybe sulley is right. Do you really believe that Skiles is the coach to lead us to the promised land? I don't think any coach can win a title with this team. We need a dominant inside scorer. Is Skiles the best? I don't think so, but we could do worse. But the whole Duhon starting over Gordon thing, yeah that's just crap.
  13. I'm sick to my stomach regarding this game now. I can't take another playoff loss, I just can't. I seriously might enter depression for a few months. I know, I know, its just a game, but Chicago Bear football is part of my life. Please bring home a victory boys. Bear Down.
  14. I like Vodka better, although Tanqueray is pretty good.
  15. Gale Sayers is a just a bitter, jealous old man. And I've thought that since long before he ever uttered Rex Grossman's name. He has always seemed to resent the great players that came after him, Walter in particular. That LT comment is just another example. Agreed. Sayers sucks. He has also "hated" on Payton in the past.
  16. Even if Briggs doesn't walk? I think Briggs is gone, but even if he stays, I wouldn't mind adding a LB that is a good pash rusher. That Bears need to find away to get to the QB when the front 4 isn't firing on all cylinders.
  17. Smart move. He is a natural UT, not NT.
  18. I'm hoping the Bears will draft Rufus Alexander.
  19. I hate to sound like an employee for the Chicago Bears, but there really isn't a bad seat at Soldier Field.
  20. I'm hearing Mike Sherman to the Cardinals: http://www.dack.com/images/weblog/mike-sherman-sleeping.jpg
  21. I think Hendry really wanted to take a shot at Mulder, but he knew there was no way, given the history of the rotation the past few seasons. Lilly and Marquis should,(should being the key word) pitch 200+ innings a piece. Of course if he pitches like last year I'm hoping those 200 innings are in AAA for Marquis.
  22. I think the Bears(considering their depth) are in a good position to trade up in this years draft. However trading up isn't Angleo's style, so I don't see that happening.
  23. Well do be honest, I'm troubled by D. Mannings recent play. This defense is at its best when we get dynamic play for the safety spot. Whether it be SS or FS, we need somone making plays back there. Now if our draft pick comes up and Leron Landry is available, that is another story.
  24. He might not make alot, but when Benson beats him out next training camp, I bet he bitches a ton. Personally I'd love to get a speed back, (like a Jerious Norwood) to be a counter to Benson. You can find these speciality backs all the time late in the draft.
