    I know I have been critical of Pax at times, but I will defend him to the end on the Eddy Curry trade. This guy is simply gutless. Right now he is tossing up 19PPG in garbage time, thats it. He will never be a catalyst for a team that goes deep in the playoffs. And if someonehow he is on a good enough team that does make it far, he will crumble like a little girl in the postseason

    Even if it doesn't hold up under appeal, it sends a big message that the commish isn't going to tolerate this stuff. I'm fine with the message, I just don't really like how he's going about enforcing it. This sort of ex post facto enforcement is just a bit troublesome to me. I'm fine with year long suspensions for certain actions, I just think the lack of precedent will cause problems, and could ultimately undermine the whole movement towards stricter enforcement. You are basically forcing the union to fight you on this, as opposed to coming to a mutual agreement. I was thinking about this same issue this morning. Are they going to retroactively punish a guy like Leonard Little? I think the NFL is setting themselves up for a needless battle here. Good point. Leonard Little is a freakin murderer.

    Personally I think Goodell should be more concerned with hiring full time officiating crews, and cleaning up all these garbage late hit calls that plagued the 06 season.

    This is a joke right? Kevin Durant could outplay Luol Deng right now. Let alone in two years when he is a legit 30 point a night guy who can actually break his man down on the dribble. On the flip side Deng is much better inside vs. Durant. Does Durant have a higher ceiling? No doubt. But he hasn't proven anything in the NBA. Deng is an established 19 and 7 guy who is only getting better.

    They really are clueless when it comes to building an organization. 2nd, 3rd, 4th round picks have become so valuable, especially if you have good player personall guys that can get good play out of these guys for low salary.

    I took him in the beginning of the 2nd round. The first re-do of the Draft :lol: 2nd actually, Vance tried to take a CB that had already been selected (McCauley it was, I believe). Yeah...but I caught my mistake about five minutes after making it. You did start the board draft...you should have said tough, and kept the pick for yourself... :lol:

    If the Bulls won the lottery, Oden is a no brainer...I'm curious what they would do if they won the 2nd pick though.....I really don't think you can pass on Kevin Durant, but he basically plays the same position as Loul Deng. So what do you do? Keep both Durant and Deng, trade one of them? ...I'm babling, this is pointless...odds are the pick will be b/t 8-10.

    I'm just hoping the Knicks really tank and give us a shot at Horford. 2 games vs. the Nets, 1 vs Toronto, 1 vs Charlotte for them.

    looking at a draft site... http://www.nbadraft.net/ They have the Bulls taking Nicolas Batum....who the heck is that? Pick doesn't make sense considering we got Thabo last draft.....They have Noah falling pretty far....not really a fan of his game, but he would have to be considered if around when the Bulls are up.
